About The Caterpillar and Alice looked at each other for some time in silence: at last the Caterpillar took the hookah out of its mouth, and addressed her in a languid, sleepy voice. “Who are you?” said the Caterpillar.

What is the mayfly link?

The Mayfly Link project is just a personal project to share links. I know, there is an infinity of sites to do this. Sites with the same premise. But the main challenge was make this fast and simple. Less than one day of work.

One link each 24 hours. And nothing else.

After this, the link will disappear forever. No archives, no search. Just the link. Easy to update, easy to make, easy to keep.

I made.

Each link as a specific color and 24 hours of life. After this time, the link disappear forever. You can try to find it again in /random but as more the time run, becomes harder to find a link again.

I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Mayfly is an insect who has a short life, two days at maximum, sometimes a couple hours. We choose this as a name (so much better than the first option Snaplink – Captain Obvious says hello) in a domain .link.

It’s just a fast prototype experience, so I don’t expected nothing from this project. Except a link per day.

Hope you like.
